In our FAQ section you can find all you need to know about our products, for example how to choose the right patch, information on size, the fabric we are using, how to fit a patch to glasses, delivery costs and where you can purchase adult patches.
Our eye patches are made from Oeko-Tex® certified materials, so you can be confident of using them on sensitive skin, unless a child has an allergy to polyester (thread) or cotton fabric. The elastic is latex-free and is made from nylon and elastane.
The layers of fabric are breathable and comfortable on the skin. The inner blackout layer ensures comfort against the skin and absorbs or wicks away any moisture.
Our Eye Patches are packaged in a RPET (Recycled-Polyethylene-Terephthalate) box. This material has a low carbon footprint, is recyclable and has strong environmental credentials. The box is ideal for storing the patch in between uses.
It is possible to wear an eye patches under the glasses if there is enough distance between the eye patch and the back of the lens.
You can also wear an eye patch over glasses; however, the patch might be less effective as an occlude.

Yes they are, but we recommend that young children are supervised while wearing our Eye Patches. As with headbands and other elasticated headwear, the patch could be pulled down so that it hangs around their neck.
This does not present any immediate danger, since the elastic is loose. However, there is a potential strangulation hazard if the patch became snagged on play equipment or similar.
All our Glasses Patches are 11.5cm long and 6cm wide (5 x 2.5 inches). The patches are designed to fit most young children’s glasses frames and can be adjusted when worn to achieve the best possible fit.
Our Glasses Patches are made from layers of breathable fabric that is hypoallergenic and comfortable on the skin. The inner blackout layer ensures comfort against the skin and absorbs or wicks away any moisture.

Ensure the patch fits snugly against the eye by adjusting the position if necessary, so there are no places to peep. Correctly fitting glasses are essential to keep the patch in place. If the glasses slip down the nose, so will the patch. You can use glasses retainers around the head or behind the ears. Also, make sure that the elastic strip covers the single buttonhole again after inserting the nose piece.
