Slide We understand that patching can be a difficult time for both child and parent, so we have devised and sourced some things to help. Children of all ages cooperate better with patching when they understand what is happening and why. Simple explanations and consistent messages go a long way to help the treatment be as smooth and successful as possible.

Our rewards, charts, calendars and toys provide an opportunity to explain and discuss patching with your child, so they understand and accept the treatment and look forward to achieving good vision.

Patching can be a difficult time for both child and parent, so we have devised and sourced some things to help.
The charts and calendar aim to give a sense of purpose to the patching process. They help a child to focus on the challenge of each day.
The frog story helps all young children to understand the need for patching in a positive way.
Our fabulous toy glasses are great to help a young child to accept their glasses more readily. Buy them on their own, with a patch, or on one of our special toys and room decorations.
We also have glasses accessories to decorate or keep your glasses comfortable and in place, plus some excellent value sunglasses and hippo case that will protect young eyes properly on sunny days.
